CRY India -Direct Implementation

Campaign Story

The DI (Direct Implementation) Projects were undertaken by CRY during the COVID-19 pandemic to address the urgent needs of underprivileged children in remote and marginalized communities. Focusing on education, health, and child protection, these projects operate across 10 locations in Gujarat, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, and the Andaman & Nicobar Islands, impacting nearly 19,000 children.

Supported by CRY America with an annual budget of $USD 164,424, the project teams work toward strengthening children’s rights through education, protection, healthcare facilities, and agency-building as a cross-cutting element in all projects.
